My favorite part of IVIG

I just have to share this.... I hope fate doesn't burn me for saying it, but my very favorite part of my 12 year old daughter having IVIG (second one) is that she actually can "play" again. After five days post IVIG she started initiating play with her sister (11 years old). She has continued this every day since. This is huge in our house since she really hasn't done this in years. She actually enjoys playing again. Thank God for her getting some of her childhood back. Second IVIG has gone incredibly well (as did the first). Hope and pray that reinfection stays far, far away. So thankful for IVIG and that we finally went through with the procedure. Simply awesome.

Thank you - this is great to read. We are currently precerting for IVIG after several years of abx. Our 5 year old is doing much better than he was 2 years ago, but we want to push him over he finish line if we can.
