Strep in full force

I want to start by saying I've got three children DD7 (no PANDAS) DS9 (no PANDAS) and DS12 (who has PANDAS). My DS12 is scheduled for a T&A June 5th. He's on Azithromycin right now and recently finished a 10 day dose of Augmentin. Friday my younger daughter came home with strep throat.She's now being treated. It is going around all the schools in our district and now in my home! Also other kids that ride my children's bus have come down with strep as well as two other relatives.I'm worrying myself to death thinking that DS12 might get strep and have a flare up before we can get him in for the T&A. Should I try to get all my immediate family members on preventative antibiotics? I've been like a crazy person trying to wash and sterilize everything in my house but I'm worried to death that they'll pick it up at school. They have only one and half weeks left of school and DS12 has missed so much due to the PANDAS I'm trying to get him through the last week and a half without missing.Will the Azithromycin prevent him from getting strep? Any knowledge or advice is greatly appreciated.

Augmentin works better in our home. If it were us, I'd try to treat everyone ASAP. Good luck! I hate strep.
