has anyone had any luck with Dr. B's office in obtaining lab results without paying for a phone consult? I would like ours to be faxed to us, but they haven't and they haven't answered my email. We don't go back until June 20th and I would hate to wait that long.

If you have managed to get yours, I would love to hear how!

I did get some earlier by writing to the nurses. They mailed them. Lately though the only way I get anything is when Ian goes in for IVIG and I request it then and there. :-/ I requested a letter for the school that would qualify Ian for his IEP next year, and it took them 6 weeks and I still didn't get it. He went this week for treatment and we got the letter day of. So I am not sure how to accomplish it except to keep bugging them. Try calling and emailing, I guess.

I fax requests and they are great about faxing back lab work. At least so far....

Really?! I will fax a request for them tomorrow. Hopefully, I can get them back. I'm anxious!

ALWAYS ask for the ordering MD to "copy patient". You get a copy mailed directly to your home from the lab. And, because the patients are minors, we as the parents can call the lab to get verbal results.

Because my kids have so many MDs. I explain that it's easier for me wo bring the labs to the other MDs apps. It really is more convenient.

I do the same thing as JenniferG. If I did not, I would be waiting weeks at times for results......
