LNN Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 I came across this site and found it to be an interesting resource on gut issues. I'm looking into digestive enzymes and found some good info. You sort of have to wade around thru the site - no search bar ... but lots of good tidbits for those with GI issues. http://www.enzymestuff.com/digestion.htm
NancyD Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 Laura, my DD lived on digestive enzymes for years during her severe colitis. We tried so many over the years but the one I swear by is Kirkmans EnZym-Complete/DPP-IV.
SSS Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 We have been using Trienza chewables by Houston Enzymes for quite awhile. It is a broad spectrum enzyme formula, covering all the bases: They have the DPP IV to help with the gluten and casein, also the 'no phenol' component to help with sulfites and phenols, and enzymes to help with carb breakdown, etc. They are a tasty chewable, less caps to swallow.
