trggirl Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 Bonnie Grimaldi gave it to her son and felt it was very important. It may have anti-inflammatory properties. It supposedly has benzodiazepine properties (anti-anxiety). Sounds like it might be worth checking out. Anyone tried it???
LNN Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 Not familiar with Bonnie Grimaldi. But we use niacinamide. Can't say I see the same impact as a motrin. It's one of those "good to have" things in our mix of supplements. But I don't consider it as one of our "must haves." That said, I'm learning more and more about orthomolecular medicine and run across it quite a lot. Apparently Walsh - a big name in methylation - is working on a new book (not yet available). Hoping it will help my connect some dots and wouldn't be surprised to see B3 mentioned quite a bit.
trggirl Posted February 6, 2012 Author Report Posted February 6, 2012 Thanks LLM! Bonnie Grimaldi puts out a line of supplements for tourettes. She has very interesting theories behind her choices. And although her products are marketed for tourettes, I personally wonder where the line stops and starts between tourettes and PANDAS. I'm sharing a link. I think you will find it interesting. http://bonniegr.com/more-info.html Anyone else have any experience??
