This is the first time I've ever seen Livedo reticularis on my DS10. Last night it was on his thighs before bedtime. I know of a mom on here who's dd had this at one time. Is there cause for concern? Along with this DS had a really good day behavior wise. I bumped him to daily Cefdinir this past Saturday. We have been fighting a rectal rash that cultured negative for strep, staph and pinworms. I had been putting ketoconazole on it since thinking it was yeast but now switched back to mupicirin and it looks better today. The past few weeks he has been going downhill in behaviors. Tuesday he was a mess and yesterday he was just a different kid. Not as obsessive about video games, able to articulate and had a long heart to heart with me last night. I could go on. Is this Livedo reticularis making him behave better or is it the fact I bumped up his abx to daily from EOD?

Ugh! I hade this Dart game.

Thanks

My daughter had this significantly -all extremities and her face, very dark purple lacing. It developed during IVIG and lasted a week- she also developed hemolytic anemia as a consequence to the IVIG. I do not know if the livedo reticularis was a "sign" of the ultimate reaction that was hemolytic anemia- but I think it is an outward sign that her body was reacting to something. I know that is a different situation than you are dealing with.

I bet the increase in abx helped!

Hope the improvement maintains and even continues!
