LNN Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 I found this yesterday and thought I'd share it...http://www.goodsearch.com/ It's a search engine that donates a small amount to the non-profit of your choice every time you use their search engine or buy something through their portal. So a Pandas group, IOCDF, maybe ACN if Shelia register's with them...it won't amount to huge donations, but if you search a lot, it could help while not costing you anything (since we all have such full piggy banks thanks to these illnesses). So FWIW...
MomWithOCDSon Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 What a great idea! I'm a bit of a Google fanatic, but maybe it's time for this old dog to learn a new trick!
KaraM Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Through GoodSearch you can also GoodShop. Lot's of stores will donate a percent of your shopping bill to whatever cause you have chosen as well...1% or 2% of purchase. Stores like Lands End, Amazon, Target...many name and non-name shops. If you enter through GoodSearch's website, it will bring you to that store and the donation is automatically applied. So remember that if you are doing your shopping on line...especially as the holidays approach.
