NewBeginnings Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 I'm wondering how often you can give Benadryl. (meaning how many days can they stay on it) Our LLMD says to give it during herx's, but I notice that it's helping a lot with sinus pressure and wasn't sure how long most people keep their kids on it? Thanks for any input.
Suzan Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 We are on it daily for our allergies, once a day at night. My step mom takes it nightly for the same reason and has for years. According to our allergist, it's fine. I try to get us off of it during the winter when we don't have as many allergies to give us a break but we start it up again in the Spring and take until the Fall. Susan
cobbiemommy Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 DS, 11, is taking Benadryl with each dose of Tetracycline at the moment. Very safe, but causes sleepiness of course.
