Thanks, Nancy! I will certainly keep the lyme in mind as we fight through this maze of issues. I guess I want to see how we do with a second round of IVIG and the summer coming, not so many illnesses. Strep has been around our school all school year. He hasn't got sick because he is on antibiotics, but I am sure he must react. Sometimes reading about all this stuff makes me head hurt and I fear I will never understand it all. I am trying to be patient and take it one step at a time. SO we wait on the IVIG right now and see how that goes. I guess I should go over to the Lyme board because I don't understand all the different tests and all. I thought the Igenex one was everything and if that was negative, he didn't have it. But I hear about different labs and all of that, so I am very confused. I need insurance to cover it at this point. I will wade my way through though, and keep learning.

Yes, pop over to the Lyme forum when you have some time and you will get your questions answered. Taking it one step at a time is a good idea so you don't confuse matters. Plus you will want to wait (I believe) 3 mos after IVIg to test for Lyme and other TBI. You can start to read up now and plan next steps so you are ready to take action when you are ready. One thing you could start to do now is detox. There are many options -- well worth investigating. Also consider doing Epsom salt baths and bentonite clay during flareups. It helps a LOT! I stock up in Epsom salt!

That sounds like a good idea. I will do that. I will also do the epsom salt and the clay. Once I have some time I will read up on the Lyme forum and see if I can make sense of it all. I am finally getting some of the PANDAS and IVIG stuff down. lol
