Sick Agian!

Hi Dans been doing pretty well.Has IVIG 1g every 21 days for over a year now.Definite gains no rage (very little).Still has OCD and tics but nothing like it was. He takes 2.5 mg namenda at night.Celebrex sometime 3-4 days a week.He turned 17 a month ago and I was feeling positive then but Im back to the pitty Pot.Hes sick again with a cold .Hes up alot at night cause hes stuffy and Im running short on patience.I think I need to go back to medication but I dont wat to .Nothing ever worked .Just thought Id say Hi and fill anyone whos interested in .

Melanie - sorry to hear this. Let's hope the IVIG does its job and kills whatever is in there -maybe it will just be a cold for 5-7 days like most kids - WITHOUT a prolonged PANDAS autoimmune response!!

My dd came down with a cold a week ago...I can totally empathize. She had been improving on HD IVIg #2 and a steroid burst (for yet another autoimmune issue) and then the cold, vomiting on Sat, it is often more than any of us can bear. May we all find health for our children,
