The worse before better is getting to me

I know every recovery is different but... I get really worried sometimes. Son is at the non functional point where I am going to have to get a tutor. Our LLMD appt can't come soon enough. The things I am doing for him myself and the ped has help some symptoms and really made others worse. This can be scary. We did go through this 2 years ago when we thought this was PANDAS, so I have some optimism.

I'm still in the worse stage myself, the MUCH much worse stage really, so I can't offer much advice but you & your little one will be in my prayers & thoughts! <3

Don't have much for suggestions but am thinking about you. Hang in there. Dr. Bovenzi will at least can get you started on the right path. I know she consults with Dr. Jones. Can't recall, did you say your son has bartonella?

Yes my son does have Bartonella. The red/purlple stretch marks came out full force once we started omnicef. I have since convinced my Peds to start rifampin and zithromax. Day one of the latter. With my son it is the joint pain and fatigue that have stopped him from going to school. I'm holding my breath to see what happens with the zith and rifampin. I'm prepared. Son's tics in this past fall were the worst ever.
