Anyone have an ENT recommendation in Boston area

I think I'd like to take my son to an ENT specialist. He has recurrent throat infections that I think are causing exacerbations in my PANDAS dd8.

I want an ENT who, at a mimimum, is aware of PANDAS and is not a skeptic.

 

Please PM me if have any recommendations or warnings.

We saw an ENT several years ago at Mass Eye & Ear. He does believe in PANDAS and has removed T&A for kids with PANDAS. Since my DD's problem was in her sinuses and not her throat he could not recommend removing T&A and there was nothing else he could offer us. He didn't exactly blow me away but he's not a naysayer. Hi Kara, We live 2 hours north from you, and the ENT that removed my son's T & A didn't know alot about PANDAS, but has heard of it and was willing to remove T&A. When he did, he discovered "Puss and Gravlely tonsils". He was "surprised" the tonsils didn't give him more problems. I love what Peglem said when I posted this back in Dec. of 2009. "Like PANDAS symptoms were not enough of a problem?" If you have a problem finding an ENT please PM me and I will get it to you.

In the meantime, a friend of mine whose dd11 may have PANDAS/PITAND saw an ENT in Boston the other day. She said this doctor had heard of PANDAS/PITAND and agreed it could be her daughter's issue and that removing the tonsils may help...that she (this doctor) had seen it help other PANDAS patients!!! So, now I have a name I can pass on with a second hand recommendation if anyone needs it!
