risperidone for tic

Hello everyone

My 7 years old son has gotten tic from 10 months ago.At first he has motor and very hard vocal tic.we took him to psychiatrist and she gave Risperidone and Fluoxetine to him. after 2 weeks his tics decreased but it didn't solved completely. every three months his psychiatrist increases Risperidone and Fluoxetine dosage. from tow weeks ago his vocal tics increases suddenly. we don't know what we should do exactly ? dose my son need to drugs really ? Do his tics become disappear in future ? please help and inform me
