jyl Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 My ds18 had his first 2 IVIG treatments last week with Dr. B. No significant news yet to report-which seems typical-one day at a time. Soooo glad no bad side effects though. I am -along with an outpatient program-trying to find a therapist/psychiatrist in Fairfield County/Satmford that treats PANDAS, or at least uses cognitive behavioral therapy-which seems to be reccomended for PANDAS. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
lynn2 Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 (edited) This gives a list of a whole bunch of organizations that will refer you to psychiatrists who do CBT. There is also a list of centers that do OCD/CBT intensives. http://www.brainphysics.com/resources.php Since this comes out strangely, the website is www.brainphysics.com/resources.php Edited December 30, 2010 by lynn2

LNN Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 http://www.ocfoundation.info/treatment-providers-list.php If you go to the OC Foundation, you'll find a list of therapists. Ones who have BTTI after their names have attended the OC Foundation's Behavioral Therapy Training Institute, which teaches ERP tools. It doesn't guarantee a perfect fit, but it does indicate that these therapists have actually trained in ERP techniques, not just say they have.
