Guest marikatsumi
My daughter, 8 years old, has had Tourette's for 2 years. Fortunately her tics have been relatively mild, though she has some bad days of course. However, she's started head shaking and hand moving that I can't call mild. I've been intrigued to read about the relationship between allergies and Tourette. We live in Maryland and I found 2 doctors in the reasonable distance. Has anybody had their children see Dr. Tauraso in Frederick, or Dr. Vinitsky in Gathersburg, MD? I would appreciate an input before I take my daughter to one of them. And also, my daughter is allergic to some antibiotics and some ingredients of this homeopathic tablets for sinus dicongestion made by Highland. She probably is allergic to something else she hasn't taken yet. Are the testing for food and other allergies safe? What is a skin test like? Should I have her take just a blood test for food allergy that has been suggested on the posts? Mari
