susanna
My son's doctor has recommended metals testing for my son via a DMSA Challenge test. I don't know much about this. I did read that problems could arise if the metals were chelated from the body too fast. Does anyone have any experience with this test? Were there any issues? Guest Guest
My son's ND also recommanded it, but our DAN doctor does not recommand it. The same test was discussed earlier in another thread: http://www.latitudes.org/forums/index.php?...st=0entry7037 Jean
Andy
I am checking out a doctor myself right now to do detoxing. There are many ways to detox. You might want to do a computer search for Dr. Amy Holmes. She has a wonderful website on this matter regarding testing, safety and alternatives. From what I have read is that DMSA may be reabsorbed into the body as it goes thru the intentines and good minerals might be pulled out as well but supplements and olive oils may prevent what was mentioned. It is a big step and we have been tip toeing into this direction. However, the research shows that the younger the age the better the results so now we are getting ready to take that leap. You might want to check out my last thread on cheaten detoxing. Claire had responded with a wonderfull post filled with direct leads.
