Need help deciphering IGX test results

Yes, mycoplasma was a big issue for us and there have been some great articles posted on this forum or the PANDAS forum about how a recurrent mycoplasma infection may not create a rise in IGM. I will try to find the article later and repost it.

Thanks Elizabeth. I appreciate that! I did look on the PANDAS forum a couple of weeks ago but could not find anything and I do remember reading something about it. 'Course, that was before I knew it would be important to me.

The first article mentions that sometimes the mycoplasma IGM does not rise with recurrent infections. It says you usually see this in adults because they are the one getting a recurrent infection.

 

The second article discusses possible autoimmune reactions to mycoplasma.
