  1. My DS15 has had a rash that comes and goes. It always shows up during IVIG but it is kind of like a hot flash.and in that it only stays for 1-10 minutes and then goes away. It is not raised - just red and has presented two ways. It is on his chest, shoulders and neck. It is is large red splotches or it is a weird non uniform outline (kind like the grout in a walk way flagstone. The rash also shows up occasionally in between monthly IVIGs. It showed up yesterday and it is 28 days post his last IVIG. My son's immunologist and neurologist do not have an answer for the rash. My son has had some great success with IVIG and steroids but nothing is holding. I feel like this rash has to be a clue but I don't know for what so I thought I would ask if anyone else's child has experienced this rash and know what is means? Thanks for your help. Also - he has been tested by IGenix for Lyme and co-infections and was negative.
  2. My ds 15 had a bad bout with Flu B last week --- very high fever, body aches, etc. Took Tamiflu, and is now left with a chesty cough. Oddly enough, his Pandas symptoms were not bad during the flu week...tics decreased, OCD, anxiety, and ADHD symptoms were all surprisingly decreased. Two days ago, however, the Pandas symptoms came back with a vengeance. Tics, OCD, anxiety, hyperactivity are worse than they've been in a long time. He also has a red, dotted rash on his face (we think this rash--which we've seen on his trunk before-- is yeast related). AND, he is finding it hard to make eye contact-- he has never mentioned this symptom to me before. He has consistently been on antibiotics, and he has ongoing mycoplasma. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  3. Anyone know what type of rash this is: http://www.tiikoni.com/tis/view/?id=007d9b1 DD has started having rages again and we just got a new lab form for testing. I couldn't find it on types of rashes. Sent the pic over to DD's Doctor but wanted to know if anyone had any thoughts.
