Count me in...I am attending the symposium as both the mother of a daughter with PANDAS as well as a researcher. I knew nothing about the disorder until my (now) 6 year old suddenly developed motor and vocal tics last fall and subsequently tested positive for strep. Shortly after the diagnosis, I began my quest to educate other school psychology professors, students, and public school personnel on the disorder. Ironically, the vocal tics (and strep...sigh) reappeared two weeks ago, on the day I found out I was accepted to present a two hour PANDAS lecture at the national conference for school psychologists this winter. I am really looking forward to connecting with other parents. Shannon
