  1. I'm 21 and started having thoughts around six months ago. At first I found it easier to shrug the thoughts off and carry on. But as of late the thoughts have been much stronger and more pesistant. I googled obsessive thoughts and found it really comforting to not be the only person who had them. One question I did have is how people go to the doctor and tell them about the thoughts. They are completely sickening to me and I don't think I could bring myself to tell them to someone else; even my family that I have them. I've started recently to feel like a failure because I can't shift these thoughts and was going to call my GP and ask for help but didn't know what I could say....
