We went and saw a tic specialist in the neurology dept of our local children's hospital. My 8 year old son recently developed leg stretching, then proceeded to arm stretching, then to arm convulsions, and now to head jerking. I had never heard of Pandas before this site but he did have two cases of strep throat in the last 4 months, which coincided with the onset of these tics. My son is really bothered by this and is asking for help. The neurologist has recommended Tenex and Topamax. Please can anyone tell me about your experience with these medicines??
