My son and I both have Pandas and live in TX. We are traveling to CT for treatment. Why is there such a problem with getting this treated in certain States?

The doctors. Period. We were dx'd in Iowa, but the trx is way behind. We have a young psychiatrist who has been very excepting of IVIG, but probably feels ordering it is outside his expertise. The infectious disease doc dx'd it, but nothing but Pen-VK. Period. This guy is well respected at the leading children's Hospital here and I am sure this carries weight.
