I am new to this forum and have a ?
My Dr has ordered a test through this place called Igenex for Lyme.I was wondering about an old test I had done through i think Labcorp.....it was I thin called westen blot or something.Anyhow it was all saying negative but on one part it said band 41 positive.Does this sound liek a possible trigger for my Dr to order Igenex?
I mean I think he doesnt want me to panic but when I asked him what that band 41 positive means....he hesitated and said it means nothing....but he looked like he was trying to hesitate alot.
From your knowledge and Im brand new does that sound a little iffy?
I know these tests are not accurate through Labcorp or Quest and stuff unless your really bad off with Lyme.Igenex is more accurate.I am worried that It reported (through Labcorp Band 41 Positive)
IT DOESNT SOUND GOOD TO ME......what do u think?
