Nice to meet everyone on here
I have had TS for 22 years now (since I was 5 - do the math )
Diet, herbs, and other techniques can help somewhat....
The crux of the matter though, is dealing with stress. Way too many people nowadays let things get to them (example: "road rage") The more things that bother you, the less happy you will be. That goes for anyone. But for a TS patient, he has an extra incentive to let things go - I mean, really not be bothered at all - otherwise when he is frustrated, he will become very uncomfortable because of numerous tics.
That has been my experience -
I think there are some foods that trigger them though - caffeine isn't my friend I found (so I avoid it altogether) and perhaps other things as well. I think having too many high-sodium foods (canned goods, many frozen meats, etc.) raises your blood pressure, and makes them worse as well.
Any comments?
