  1. I posted for the first time yesterday regarding what may be a throat clearing tic in my son. Has anyone had any bad experiences with it or are there any negative side effects?
  2. Google Singulair and tics and see what other parents have said. When I took my son off of them a year ago, his throat clearing tic went away. I just came to the board because it seems like they have started again which suspect to be the vitamins he is on but do google and see what you find.
  3. I promise not to bug you again but is it Natural Calm or Kid's Calm. And, it does tell you how much for what age, right? Are there any side effects or any bad reports from anyone regarding it? Thanks MUCH!!!
  4. He had allergy tests when he was a little over 2 and everything came back negative. As for Natural Calm/Kid's Calm...is the product to calm? Should I talk to a doctor first? I have seen lots of people posting about this product. How soon did you see results with your son? I haven't tried eliminating junk from his diet and I really don't know where to begin other than with candy.
  5. Hi All! This same time last year, my son (just turned 7) developed what appeared to be a throat clearing tic. Well, there was a sniff before it. Anyway, at the time he was on Singulair and Rhinocort for allergies. After researching the two, I found that Singulair had been associated with tics by parents. So, after taking him off both of them...they went completely away. There was a time when he'd start a little and I took him off of his vitamins (the Scooby Doo/Flinstone Gummies)...they'd stop completely. Well, now they seemed to have come back. I tried putting him on Zyrtec thinking maybe it was allergies but that didn't seem to help so I took him off of that and didn't give him a vitamin for the last 2 weeks until this morning...a different one with Magnesium in it...you know, in my confusion. This morning I made him an appointment with his pediatrician but its not for 2 weeks to see if things subside again. So, while very confused and a little scared, I am here to see if anyone else's child has experienced the same and to know WHAT WORKED if anything.
