My son is 15 and has had some sort of tic for the past 4 or so years. Its always been pretty benign - squinting, turning head, and all the other non vocal. Recently, he has been experiencing vocal tics that also include wrenching of the neck and sometimes at night getting into the fetal position with what appears to be pain. He is much better during the day and when we see doctors he is able to control it. I am in the process of reading the Natural Treatment book and am convinced we need to explore diet. Does anyone in the NY, NJ, Ct. area have any suggestions on doctors where we can get allergies tested. Feels like we are going in 3 or 4 different directions without a solid plan. Any help is appreciated - this is my first post so apology if format is off.
