How many weeks does it take for IVIG to work?

my son, 8, had his first ivig done exactly 2 weeks ago and we are waiting, not so patiently to see some improvement! so far all we see is more hyperactivity, ODD, and anxiety...doctor said she doesnt think it will take too long to see improvement but so far nothing:(
