Thanks for the bump and reply! She isn't having an episode right now, but I am bracing for the one that might follow this infection. I had hear that possibly the actual dose of the abx should be higher for PANDAS kids. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks!

Hello! New to this board. My daughter has PANDAS and was just diagnosed with strep yesterday. I went to her regular doctor and was given the standard dose of antibiotics and I would like to know the opinions on this board of what dose and length of treatment is recommended for PANDAS kids. Also, my niece and nephew have PANDAS. Any opinions on how long to keep my daughter away from them to prevent a reaction to her strep? TIA, Susan
