I'm not sure if this falls under the topic, as I can't alphabetize quickly. I count everything according to the alphabet...dishes washed and put away, steps taken, ice cubes put into my water glass, laundry washed and folded, etc...If I leave off at R on Tuesday, I resume my "counting" with S on Wednesday. I feel like I'm an oddball and keep this all to myself, and am a good mum, wife and employee, and function just fine, even when my alphabet counts make me feel like I'm going to lose control if I forget a letter. I'd be so very grateful to hear from anyone else who does the same. And should I keep my ritual counting a secret from my loved ones?
