  1. I am sure someone with more experience can better answer your question. In our case, we have decided to increase very slowly even though it suggests to increase to the maximum over a 7-10 day period. Why take the max if it's not necessary, is how we feel. Maybe email Bontech and ask what Bonnie suggests you do. They seem to be receptive to questions. Good luck
  2. Kim, We are seeing a specialist in Movement Disorders in August at Rush Hospital in Chicago. One of the things on my list of questions is the relation to allergies. As far as we know, DS does not have any. We talked to our Neuro at our last visit about supplements. He was receptive. He said many times the patient "just thinks" they are working. I know doctors believe in medicines, so we expected that answer. However, he said it was fine to try them along with the medicine our son is on. Yesterday my son told my husband he thinks the supplements are working. He said he felt less urges to "tic." Maybe that goes along with what the Neuro said, because yesterday was only the 2nd day on Bonnie's TS-Plus Control. Today we are increasing from 5 yesterday to 6. I am going to then stay at 6 and increase as we see fit, upto 19 if needed. I splijt them up between all meals and snacks. Pam
  3. Hi Kim, I was just interested in hearing from anyone who has used the TS-Plus Control and that has seen results. What results are seen? A large increase in the tic? My son's main tic is a loud screaching tic and is the most concerning because of its social aspects. The maximum dosage is 19 pills/day, which is an awful lot, isn't it? But, IF we see results, as I told my son today, it will be worth it. He has had this vocal tic for about 6-7 weeks now and we are all anxious to see it go away. My eyes have been opened to what so many people go through. This is all new to us in the past 4 months, and it is just heart breaking. Anyway, any experiences would be great. Thanks!
  4. We just received them yesterday; we will update soon. Thanks all, Pam
  5. Yes, my son is on Clonidine and Risperdal as well. We tried hard not to medicate, but the vocal tics were so loud, so often and very high pitched that we felt we had to try meds. We do see some improvement, however slight. I feel desparate to try something in an effort to hopefully help lessen the tics. Will Bonnie's supplements help? Well, I guess time will tell. I'd still love to hear from anyone who has experience with her supplements and vocal tics. I appreciate both of your replies as well.
  6. Hi. My ds12 has very loud screaching high pitched tics. I just ordered Bonnie Grimaldi's TS-Plus Control yesterday in an effort to help him. I've been reading here for a while in an effort to get educated. It seems many of you feel her products DO work, and after much thought, my husband and I decided to give it a try. We do have his Neurologists approval as well. Please, if you have experience with THIS tic, I'd love to hear from you. There are an awful lot of pills to take each day with Bonnie's product. I am a little concerned at that, but are willing to try. Please tell me what to expect. How much time before we will see results? Do you take this in addition to other medications, or this alone? How do you take them? With meals? Before Meals? After meals? At bedtime? I look forward to hearing from you and any experiences with the TS-Plus Control. Thanks, in advance. Pam
