My 2 boys ages 5 and 7 have had tics for 3 and 4 years. Oh boy have they done just about every tic imaginable. I remember I was soo scared when the tics began. They were horrible. I must say though that they have done outstanding in school. They are very popular and the best players on each of their baseball teams. They are very well behaved and I am so proud of them. Their tics are not as bad as when they first started which is a relief. I always hope the tics will dissappear but I have learned to accept them. I know they have a long road ahead of them dealing with TS but I AM hopeful that TS will not hinder their futures.
