Welcoming Wang Yujiao as a New Advisory Board Member
We are excited to have the leadership of Wang Yujiao in this effort. She is a Chinese psychological consultant and nutritionist dedicated to supporting families of children with tic and hyperactivity disorders. She led a team to build the first Internet platform in China that focuses on natural therapies for childhood neurodevelopmental issues.
It is now China’s most extensive Internet presence for tic disorders.
Wang Yujiao‘s network of nutritionists and support staff, operating through the Lemon Health program, has already reached more than 100,000 families.
The Association for Comprehensive NeuroTherapy’s books, Natural Treatments for Tics and Tourette’s: A Patient and Family Guide, and Stop Your Tics by Learning What Triggers Them, were recently translated into simplified Chinese and released by Beijing Science and Technology. Ms Wang participated in the Chinese version of the Natural Treatments publication and her team is promoting their circulation. We look forward to future publication partnerships.
Wang Yujiao advocates for the use of natural approaches to treating tic disorders at both professional and family-based levels. Lemon Health offers parent training, psychological support, and nutritional guidance, enabling families to establish robust support systems. With an open-minded approach, she actively promotes the implementation of advanced intervention concepts at the international level. The public learns of Lemon Health through social media accounts, including numerous Chinese WeChat groups.
If living in China, use the WeChat app and search 柠檬果健康(Lemon Health in Chinese. There you can connect and talk with team members online.
Please also see the article about Hui Zhao, whose research paved the way for this progress in China.
The Lemon Health program collaborates closely with the China Charities Aid Foundation for Children. It innovatively implemented the “Three-Dimensional Assistance Project,” which includes 1) donating medical probiotics worth one million yuan; 2) donating more than 2,000 professional books, and 3) developing a parent empowerment training course system to assist families seeking help.
We welcome Wang Yujiao to our advisory board as she encourages Chinese involvement and research on safe and effective treatments for Tourette syndrome and related tic disorders.
