How to use this sticker behavior chart
You will want to review this chart with your child each night, making it clear as to what you mean by staying in bed. Then, first thing in the morning you will talk about how the night went, and give as sticker and praise if things went as you had hoped. You may need to use incremental steps. Allow for special circumstances, especially if the child is sick. It is helpful to have a way for the youngster to know when it is OK to get up. Some parents set a light on a timer, or have the child learn what the digital clock should read before getting up.
