How to use this feelings chart
Young children have a difficult time understanding and expressing their feelings. It’s important to explain to kids that it is normal and OK to experience different emotions. Use this beginner Feelings Chart as a starting point to talk about 4 basic types of feelings and give examples of when you and/or the child have felt this way. Question the child to make sure they understand the different emotions. The chart can be laminated making it easy to reuse.
