Zithromax can it be cut in half?

Hi,

I was able to get Zithromax for Anthony for 30 days (250mg dose) insurance won't cover because it is not a standard dose if I get a script reading 500mg once a day they will cover so frustrating!! my question can it be split in half?? why is everything so hard??

Yes, you can cut it in half. You could also give 500mg every other day (vs. 250mg once daily), since the half life is so long.
