Without the test results we received from her, we would not have been able to get antibiotics from our doctor and I probably would still be doubting and wondering. Worried_Dad Posted August 24, 2009 Report Share Posted August 24, 2009 Ditto - this test seems like a "smoking gun" for definitively identifying PANDAS and SC cases. Unfortunately, we have not been able to convince any local specialists of that fact. They say they "don't know what these results mean," it's "not an established clinical test," etc. Sigh.... EAMom Posted August 25, 2009 Report Share Posted August 25, 2009 Hi Colleen, we also sent a sample out August 4 (post pred, pre IVIG). I don't think she's run it yet...or at least we haven't heard? I think she waits until she gets a bunch of them. When we've gotten previous results, she's sent an e-mail and then followed with snail mail. pixiesmommy Posted August 25, 2009 Report Share Posted August 25, 2009 We sent ours last week and she emailed to confirm it was received (Kathy did, that is) and said she will be running a batch on Tuesday and that we should have results sometime this week via email.
