Okay I know you are all probably SICK and tired of me asking about the good ole multi-vitamin search!!!

I oringinally ordered one called vitasauras but cancelled those and found an impressive one to say the least!

All natural and organic. Recommended by a neurologist (not ours of course!) Just placed my order

are you getting the kids chewable? if so - let me know how it tastes.

My younger two are terrible eaters and I can't find a good multi that they will take - so against my better judgement they take Flinstones. I have tried many "great tasting" one's and they just spit them out. Fortunately my PANDAS son swallows pills - so it is less of an issue for him.

Sounds like a good one, but, I can't find a listing of EXACTLY what and how much of everything is in there. Am I missing it? I did find the page that shows what is in there, but, not specifically, like, what vitamins and minerals and how much, etc. Let me know if I am missing something, I'd like to find a good one too, but, it bugs me to spend 70 bucks and not know exactly what is in it.

I looked at it too, and couldn't find the amount of each vit/min. I just ordered the Everyday multivitamin from Kirkman Labs. I can't believe how hard it is to find a kids multivitamin without all the artificial crap in there..

Jasminky,

I am so excited about this. I liked the fact that it has low magnesium, as I like the Calm products and want to supplement magnesium separately.

I have two minor concerns: First, the high copper/low zinc ratio. It is my understanding that zinc is somehow necessary to b6 and magnesium utilization and that copper competes with zinc. It won't stop me from ordering the product. I will just tweek the zinc.

My other issue was the recommendation that the program begins with a one week megadose and then decreases to a maintenance dose at one half. I would strongly suggest that you consider ignoring this and starting very slowly. I really think our kids are intensely sensitive to changes like this. (Just my opinion.)

I would have ordered today, but I am still waiting for allergy test results and I don't want to make any further investments until I know what he is sensitive to.

Let us know how she responds.

Tami

Hi Tami,

What food allergy testing did you do? Was it thru a doc or thru one of the labs? Did you do any other type testing?...I am thinking about repeating that type testing since ours was over a year ago.

Thanks

Faith

Hi Jasminky --

Thanks for sharing your vitamin selection! Were you able to figure out where the ingredient list was for Intrakid? I looked around a bit but couldn't find a list of ingredients. Did you have any better luck? Thanks!

I believe the search for the "perfect" vitamin is difficult. I looked for months and months. Because we are dealing with a PANDAS/autoimmune issue, the Grapeseed and Omega 6 would not be good. Also I note that there is manganese. I had a bottle of the Everyday that I haven't tried yet because I read in the archives that manganese could contribute to vocal tics.

But, every child is different. Hope this works out for you!
