merrie Posted October 8, 2003 Report Share Posted October 8, 2003 Hi, I am new to the board and was wondering if anyone has experience with or a child that has both crohn's disease and tourettes.? My 16 year old has been in remission with her crohn's disease for two years now but her tourettes has gotten far worse at the same time? I dont know how to tie these together except for maybe the malabsorption issues caused by crohn's disease. You might want to look into an intestinal permeability assessment. http://www.gsdl.com/assessments/ip/ and follow-up with a doctor familiar with this.
