Jaal Posted May 6, 2013 Report Share Posted May 6, 2013 We are in the middle of IVIG treatment for our DS7 (day 1 in the books) According to his weight (22.4kg), Dr k's recommended dose is 33.6 grams Does anyone know if their doctor rounded up or down when selecting the doseage...it only comes in 5 gram increments. beeskneesmommy Posted May 7, 2013 Report Share Posted May 7, 2013 It should be 1.5 - 2 g/ 1 k. My son weighs 45lbs. and gets 40 g total over a period of 2 days (20 per day). This is converted at the weight of 2g/ 1 kg. I am for the 2 g instead of the 1.5 g. We had amazing results. This is the dosage that Dr. Latimer uses for us. Hope that helps. He knows what he is doing, according to the feedback that I have gotten from other parents and my impression during a teleconsult with him....hang in there!
