For those without drug coverage

Recommended Posts

For those who might not have drug coverage, just wanted to mention that there is a good drug store in Canada that is much less expensive than the U.S. For example, 50 days of 100 mg. generic minocycline is $29. It is completely safe, legal, and regulated the same as the U.S. (my doctor is the one who told me about them). The only problem is that you have to wait two or three weeks to get your prescription, though sometimes they can get it to you much faster depending on where they have to go to get the drug.

There are other good pharmacies in Canada. This is just one. All have tremendous savings over the U.S. prices.

Last year, when we didn't have prescription coverage (because we had Kaiser)

I found Costco pharmacy had the best local prices by far...

This year, we switched insurance as of January 1st, and kid you not, hit our $2,400 deductible by Febuary 1st!

Thanks. I will have to check out the prices on that site. We use CanadaDrugs.com

Were you able to get prices? I checked the site, but no matter what I picked it says "not available in your area". I'm thinking they can only ship outside of Canada. ???
