WHAT IS THIS?

Recommended Posts

my child is mostly glued to a TV but keeps running, aggressively to get something sweet ALL DAY LONG. If we don't have anything, she demands we go to store to get something. She is super aggressive and her mind is stuck on getting IT. Her OCD is pretty under control, and we tried all kinds of things for yeast. In the past...it was a severe urge to run out the door into the street because she said she was claustrophobic. Every night was the same thing. Then it was running to blockbusters for a movie EVERY night. Seems more like a sever anxiety or agitation but I can't figure it out. Anyone see anything like this?

Just wondered if you have ruled out PANDAS?

That's a point. I can't say I recognise what you describe as far as OCD goes, but I've often heard of unaccountable aggression/tantrums/anxiety/general over-excitement as a PANDAS/PITANDS thing. I think you did mention once that she had Lyme disease, didn't you?

I would also look into the possibility of yeast. Is she being treated with abx? The sweet tooth is a huge symptom, and sugar feeds yeast.
