peglem Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) http://mychildsafe.org/rage.htm I found this site many years ago and rediscover it several times a year. If your child rages, even if it is only during flares, you can probably find something on this site that will help. Edited March 20, 2012 by peglem
Jv83 Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 Thanks so much for posting this Peglem. It is very resourceful. I wanted to thank you again for you response on rapid strep. I took my dd to ped again yesterday and asked him to do another rapid. This time it was negative..and it's been a little less than a week. I have kept her on the zith and I am going to watch her closely. May I ask, how do you do zith..daily, weekly? At this point we are daily. I have a very hard tome with these abx as my daughter has several other issues including gut/bacteria/yeast issues preceding her strep/pandas issue. I am seriously considering homeopathy. Thanks again for advice and article. Jv

Thanks again for advice and article. Jv We do 500mg zith every other day when not in a flare. I find that s boulardii works pretty good for the yeast issues- at least in the gut, and I don't have to worry about timing the dose around abx, since it is a yeast. For vag yeast I usually use diflucan.
