immune testing: help interpreting results?

Recommended Posts

Christine, check your email. Dr. S will refer you for help. Its been very recent, but since St. Joe's pediatrics has merged w/ PCH, there seem to be some better practitioners there. Anyway, get an appt. w/ Dr. S- tell him what you are frustrated/concerned about.

Which specialist do I look for. I just found results of chest xray 2/2010 that said "probable RAD" No one did or said anything. I know I'm the parent but help!! (and was in medical field, but damn someon eneeds to do their job; right now we jsut need to find someone on our own I'm afraid. For Meth issues? (doc again the at ordered ped neurologist again faxed resutls saying "ok." Without guidance we don't know where to turn! Our PEd djsut ignore severything. Same with everyone at PCH. What kind of sp do we look for to assess RAD? Is an Asthma/Immuno/Allergy enoguh? Is there a pulmonary specialist? I am so tired of this, if we had soemoen directign us I would not spend all this time on computer and I feel ten different kidn sof ROTTEN for not following up. I guess stress trust and constant health issues jsut are overwhelmig and when oyu don't have anyoen in your corner. Please help my family.....God bless you. C

Yes, Asthma/Immuno/Allergy specialist would be perfect to address RAD. Doubtful you would need Pulmonary Peds specialist unless things were were severe which it does not sound like it is. He is not diagnosed Asthmatic- if he was you would know it. RADis often treated with bronchodilator and/or steroid inhalers. Sometimes bronchodilator nebulizers if severe enough. If allergy triggered- may use Zyrtec, singulair, allergy shots etc.
