pediatrician in boston area?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I know this is a long shot, but..

Does anyone know of a good pediatrician in the boston area? I dont necessarily need one that is a pandas expert, just one that is supportive of pandas, and willing to consult with pandas specialists (the big guys like k b l t), just to have a basic knowlege of what is going on. After 2 years of madness, and doing it all myself (as most of you here do), our ped. is just now showing concern (when things are getting better!), and pushing psych meds as treatment. Been there done that.

thanks,

Dan

Hi Dan,

We had our first visit last month with a family practitioner in Newton, MA. We went to her because our PANDAS dd9 was also diagnosed with Bartonella and possibly Lyme. She is an LLMD. Anyway, she is not a PANDAS expert, but I do think she is open minded and would consult with other docs (I believe she consults with Dr. J on Lyme). She's has a wholistic approach and utilizes both traditional meds and herbs/homopathic. It might be worth giving her a call and seeing how she would approach PANDAS...

She does not take insurance, though. So you would have to get reimbursed directly from your insurance company.

PM me if you want more details, etc.

Kara
