mama2alex
Has your child been evaluated by a Lyme doctor? Lyme can cause migrating pain and a number of children here with PANDAS have been found to have Lyme and associated tic-borne illnesses.

MIAS_MOM
I would like to know this answer as well. We are haunted by leg, knee, and ankle pain so bad that on spring break we tried to go to our nearest zoo, and not even halfway through, dd was in so much pain, she couldnt walk anymore. This too is a big, big problem for us.
NancyD
If you haven't already I would highly suggest testing for Lyme through IGeneX. If nothing else, just to rule it out. Sounds very much like a Lyme symptom.
Worried_Dad
I have no doubt that this could also be a Lyme symptom... but it's definitely on the "ARF/SC/PANDAS" spectrum as well. This was our ds's original symptom: pain, muscle weakness, difficulty walking. It's considered a classic symptom of acute rheumatic fever. The joint pain that moves from joint to joint is called migratory polyarthritis (we were told) and the generalized pain all over is called arthralgia. Our son had both at various times. Post-GAS autoimmune conditions also include reactive arthritis, I believe, which can cause similar migratory pain. So strep could definitely be the culprit, as could other infections.
