Phone conference with Dr. K scheduled- what to expect?

My son's psychiatrist thinks he has PANDAS, so we did the Cunningham test, and the additional tests Dr. K asked for, and sent him a medical history. The next step is the 1 hour phone conference with him. I'm wondering if there's anything else i need to prepare to be ready for this. Anyone been through this before that can help? thanks.

We are in CA too. Where you located? You can PM me if you want. I am glad you will be consulting with Dr. K. I also wanted to let you know that there are good docs treating PANDAS in CA... in case you didn't already learn that from this forum. We travel from Central CA to UCLA.

Take lots of notes, it goes by so fast, and there is so much information to remember. also, have your questions in front of you so you remember them.

Hi Anne,

 

I would listen to his Voice America radio interview. My husband and I both listened to it before our phone consult and it will help you get a feel for where he is coming from and you can get used to listening to his accent.

Copy of any test results you have is good, I think he had me fax them all to him before-hand. Get ready for some fast-paced carefully-targeted and specific questions! As always, a list of questions you have is good, as danddd has said.
