PhillyPA
Three days before my son's overnight personality change, he had the hiccups. Uncontrollable hiccups for three days and then bam - his personality was gone. At the time, we thought it was cute that he could not get rid of the hiccups. ajcire
But remember....lots of people get hiccups... I have randomly gotten an annoying case of them... as have all of my kids.. pandas and not pandas. I mean sure, my pandas ds had them recently for a good portion of the day. I could read into it and say wow my pandas kid gets hiccups too but really everyone gets the hiccups.
momofaustin
I live in the area and haven't heard any of the news mention PANDAS but they have mentioned Tourette's quite frequently. My son has PANDAS and he has had the hiccup tic. For unavoidable reasons he was unable to take his medication for 2 doses and he had hiccups for two days. After he was back on his regular medication schedule the hiccups went away. At any rate, the hiccup girl story is really sad.
