Hi, I know alot of people have used threelac for yeast and have had great results. I have used it for myself and the first week I was a little more tired. But after a month I felted great and no more yeast problems. If you go to the website it says die off effects are different for everyone but alot of people get over it in a couple of weeks. But again everyone is different. Bruce Semon has a disscussion group about yeast and tics and how to treat yeast to get rid of tics. He has written books on it too. However, my son doesn't have a yeast problem so, I know that treating yeast will not help my sons tics. He has helped kids with tics so it might be worth looking into. So your son has no tics on the topamax but you started treatments for yeast and they have could back? Char...

Hi, my son was taking vitamins before the test but I noticed after the test results were back, that he was not taking any copper at all in his vitamins. So that may be the reason, I am just not sure why my son has low copper. The test also showed he was low in iron but the test stated that it was probably not due to a iron def. So that kind of confused me a bit. Because I read if you have low copper, you can have low iron too. So I might get my sons iron tested by our family doctor to make sure. My son had a hair analysis done and his copper to zinc ratios were off. My son showed to have low copper. My sons ND said to give my son 25mg of zinc and 1mg of copper a day, to correct this. Has anyone found their child or themselves to have low copper and their zinc to copper ratios were off? Can having low copper and zinc to copper ratios off, can it affect tics or cause tics? How long has your son been doing acupuncture for? Does the acupuncture take along time and where do the needles go on your son? I have done it before on myself but not on my son for tics. I'm happy to hear your getting such great results from acupuncture:) Char...

My sons ND wants my son to start using the supplement SamE 400 mg a day. I went to the store today and bought a bottle. Well I brought it home and the bottle says it contains no artificial preservatives or sweeteners, no dairy, wheat or yeast. Well I kept reading and at the very bottom of the ingredients it says yellow color. So now I don't know if it's safe for my son to take. Any thoughts on this? I am wondering if it's like Red dye or something? My son is suppose to start taking it tomorrow. So if someone could respond I would really appericate it. I am so thankful for this forum because I sometimes have alot of questions and I know members on here understand what I am going through. Has anyone used SamE before? Did it help with tics or make them worse?

Hi All,
If you all don't mind, I would like to start a thread about everyones experiences from getting an Organic Urine Test. Did getting the test help with, finding out what supplements you needed? Did it help find out anything else? After you got the test done and did the recommondations, did it help with the tics and why?
I had one done for my son and started the recommondations awhile back. It has helped some what, however my ND Doctor wanted to retest so, I am waiting for the results to see, where my son is at. I will post more, when I get the results back. I think experiences from other people on this thread, may benefit someone else. Hi Everyone,
Today my son was at one of his activities and the activity required him to sit still for quite some time, to listen. I watched him as he struggled to sit still. He had some tics but, most of the time he was very wiggly and just could not sit still. The other boys his age could sit still and listen. As I was watching him, I felt like bursting into tears. I have him on supplements but nothing really takes his eye tics away or gets him to sit still. Does anyone else's child with tics, have a hard time sitting still and paying attention? I think it is hard for him to pay attention because his eyes are rolling to one side all the time. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try? I am writing because I really need some advice. Thanks for the responses!! I am trying to get rid of the Clostridia in my son. It seems to be sticking around.
mylittleangel, My sons high reading was(3.80). You said you have started Culturelle, do you use the 10 billion or the 30 billion? I have been using the 10 billion 2times per day. I don't think it's enough though. I have been reading to help to get rid of Clostridia, you need to start by using a high potency single probiotic. I think I might start using the 30 billion. I am also using Saccharomyces boulardii 2times per day. I have been giving my son 50mg of vitamin B6 everyday in the ts-plus. But he was still showing a vitamin B6 deficiency on his OAT test. So I have been looking into pyroluria. I have decided to give more vitamin B6 in the P-5-P form and more zinc because he only gets 10 mg in the ts-plus.

I have a couple of questions. My son was found to have High Kynurenate levels in his OAT test. So that means he has low serotonin levels? I know this means that he has A Vitamin B6 deficiency. Hi, Thanks for sharing your update on how your son is doing with his tics. Did the supplements help your sons tics or was it a number of things? Did you find that as your son got older the tics got better? Did your son ever have any focus problems? I am just wondering because it is always great to hear how kids are doing with tics when they are older, especially when the tics are so mild. It gives me hope to hear update stories like yours. Hi,
I know my son has parasites from his OAT test. From what I have been reading parasites can really affect someones body. I just want them out of my sons body. I have been using the Monlaurin? (spelling is not exact). Sorry. But I have been using it for awhile. I didn't see any difference in my son. So I bought the Paragone for kids. Well my son is on Day 3 of the 15 day cleanse. My son woke up this morning and said he had a really hard time sleeping last night and his eyes look really droopy. I don't know if it means a die -off effect and it's working or should I just stop? Is ParaGone for Kids, safe for kids to take who have tics? I have been reading a little on wormwood and it says it can affect the central nervous system. I totally agree with you, schools should not allow all that junk food. I think that letter is great. I am so sick of my sons school trying to give him candy for rewards. Why can't they do something else like stickers or pencils etc. My sons school parties always have junk food, I try to send alternatives for him and his class to eat. But my son still feels some what left out because he can't eat all the junk food, other parents send. I just wish my sons school would decide to give kids better food choices. My sons school has pizza day every month, the pizza is okay. Although my son can't eat that either but, the rest of lunch is all junk food. I have suggested maybe to change pizza day to something else or maybe 2 choices, other then just pizza day. I got shot down and looked at weird. I wish you luck and all the best. Char...

So I decided to use the Monolaurin for my son. I just got it in the mail today. I am very nervous about using it because of the die-off reactions. I know I have to get rid of the bacteria in his gut but I don't want his tics to get worse. Anyone used this before? If so, did it make the tics increase and how much did you start with? Any feedback would be great. My sons tics are mild right now, so very nervous!!!
