  1. No, not a prescription, it's sold by Algonot.com developed by dr theoharadis, I hear there is a FDA prescription being developed within the next year maybe longer
  2. My 15yr old son developed mild tics at age 12, he always had strange behavior reactions to certain food, chemicals, dyes. Also tested with high histamine which he takes methionine for. He has never tested positive for any allergies. He also has had chronic intestinal yeast and bacterial overgrowth since he was 3 or maybe earlier we are always battling, these flare ups always affect behavior. Back to the tics, They went from mild grimacing to yelping, ear piercing screaming, eye rolling, head jerking/ shaking, jumping, teeth grinding so severe I though his teeth would break, all within a year. He got tested for pandas, how tried countless supplements as well as tenex, only saccromyces bourlardi helped but only very little. I started reading dr. Theoharidis's work about mast cells and it really hit home, it sounded just like my son, and I thought the tics were maybe histamine related. He started on neuroproteck and I believe it started healing his gut reducing inflammation because 2 months after starting NP he started expelling thousands, seemed like millions of pinworms and other worms, flukes, maybe others. I was totaling blindsided, shocked and in disbelief. I'm sorry it is horrifying to hear but I had to share because after a year of killing these disgusting things, he is 99% tic free. We did both natural and pharmaceutical and I don't know we are yet done, these things keep coming back but we stay on top of it. His tics get worse, we address the parasites, the tics stop. Parasites can create over active mast cells, but he always had these strange immune reactions so haven't quite figured it all out but at least he's got some relief. It's worth looking into, most of our kids are never treated for parasites, this was never on my radar, no doctor ever mentioned it and it rarely comes up anywhere. It is a horrendous thing to watch your child go through but I will say treat for it and see what happens, tests are not reliable, my sons was negative, but I took pictures and showed his dr. and he saw. Thanks to all for the information you share here and thanks for letting me share - Mari
