Hello,
My wife has taken the HLA DRB test. The results are as follows:
DRB1 - 0701
DRB1 - 1501
HLADQ - 0303
HLADQ - 0602
DRB3 - -
DRB3 - -
DRB4 - 01ARYE
DRB4 - -
DRB5 - 0101
DRB5 - -
I have read the chart to interpret the results from the survivingmold.com website and the
rosetta stone .pdf.
http://www.survivingmold.com/diagnosis/lab-tests
http://www.patsullivan.com/files/hla-test-results.pdf
My question is in interpreting DRB5. If I understand correctly, from the rosetta stone pdf, DRB5 0101 is read as "53" and the first line test results read 07/03/-/53/- which is "mold susceptible".
The DRB5 for line two is where I get confused. The test results show a "-", but is a "-" read as "51" (per the rosetta stone pdf) or is it just blank? What I am trying to determine is if my wife is also "lyme
susceptible" (15/6/-/-/51). According to the test results it reads 15/6/-/-/-, which is not technically "lyme susceptible", as the DRB5 in my wife's test came back with a "-" instead of a number.
Can anyone confirm if a "-" in DRB5 should be interpreted as a blank or as "51"?
Thank you.
Gary
